The International multi-award winning singer-songwriter is fresh off the back of his highly anticipated debut EP release  ‘Past. Present. Future’. 

Crafting intimate stories embroidered with an infectious powerhouse riffs grounded by melodic truth and raw emotion, Australian singer-songwriter paints a musical canvas with his disarmingly direct approach exuding all expectations for the artists premiere offering.  Armed with a voice that soaks through the listener, his music has an intrinsic emotional pulling power all framed with an infectious pop twist.  

So where did it all begin?  Jason’s International success didn’t happen overnight.  What originally started out as a few open mic nights, Jason soon became a well-known name across the live music scene for his eclectic vocals and harmonically rich melodies.

Jason’s first self-produced and recorded 4 track demo ‘Different shades of grey’ received an overwhelming response.  In 2007 the first release ‘crazy dominated the Triple J Unearthed charts gaining the number 1 position for two consecutive weeks.  The breakthrough success landed him live TV appearances on Channel TEN's Landed Music, and prestigious support slots for some of Australia’s leading music acts such as Daryl Braithwaite, Shannon Noll, Tim Freedman (The Whitlams), Ash Grunwald, Christine Anu, Glenn Shorrock (Little River Band), Mia Dyson and Small Mercies just to name a few.

Eager to continue momentum, the acoustic pop/rock outfit gained International recognition as he was selected to represent Australia at the 17th Annual World Championships of Performing Arts (WCOPA) held in Hollywood, California.  Jason surpassed contestants from all over the world with his intrinsic style of songwriting and vocal power taking home a string of awards including Overall Division winner for Pop music.  He also received top honors for his original work and vocal categories taking home 10 medals (2xGold, 4xSilver, 4xBronze).  Following the overwhelming success on an International level and sparking interest from major producers and labels, Jason returned to his home soil to begin working on his debut album.

In 2015, Jason entered the studio to record his debut EP - Past. Present. Future before embarking on his first International tour across America, Europe and the UK.  The EP spawned several immense singles including the pop ballad 'Just for a while' which made an immediate and undeniable impression gaining radio airplay globally.  His follow up songs Save me’, and ‘Maybe Someday’ continued to build momentum for the Australian pop/rock outfit growing in popularity for its unique commercial sound. 
Upon completion of his global tour, Jason relocated to London where he continued to build a solid reputation in the capital playing various UK festival spots and prestigious gigs.   His instantly recognisable songwriting gained further accolades after being shortlisted for the International Songwriting Competition. One year later, and with a successful run of shows across the globe, Fichera returned to Australia where he commenced work on his next album due to be released in 2017.
